These are a few of my favorite things...
What do I like? Well there's a lot, but here is a a few of them.
TV Shows
My number one favorite show of all time is FRIENDS. I have all ten seasons on DVD!! The re-runs still make me laugh!! I also enjoy watching Smallville, Charmed, Will & Grace, and Dancing with the Stars. More recently I've become addicted to Heroes and Ugly Betty, which I make sure I'm up to date on via the full episodes online.
Movies
I have always been a fan of the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (starring Gene Wilder). I also really enjoyed The Notebook (it made me cry). Titanic was also one of my favorites when it first came out (I watched it three times in the movie theater). Some other movies I enjoy are Remember the Titans, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Toy Story 1 & 2, and Disney animated movies in general. More recently I have definitely enjoyed Sin City, The Departed, and Happy Feet (Mumble is sooo cute)!! I know there are many more that I really enjoyed but those are the ones I can think of at the moment. My boyfriend, Chris, is a movie buff and I watch movies with him that I would not normally go see on my own. He really enjoys Martin Scorsese movies and Robert DeNiro movies. I've come to really enjoy them as well.
Food
Well, this is the best part of this blog because I LOVE food!! I love to eat, it makes me happy!! My first love is Baskin Robbins ice cream (Jamoca flavored please). I love Filipino food of course, because that is what I grew up with. I also really like Thai food (so spicy, but that's what makes it yummy). Some of my favorite restaurants to eat at are In-N-Out burger, Zacatecas (mexican restaurant in Vallejo), West Lake (chinese restaurant in Hayward), Gracie's BBQ (in Vallejo), Applebee's (I love their apple chimicheesecake dessert), Chick-fil-A, Hot Dog on a Stick, Cha Am (Thai restaurant in Vallejo), Lucky Thai House (in Berkeley on University), Napoli's Pizza (in Vallejo), Zachary's Pizza, The Emeryville Public Market, and so many more I can't think of right now. I also love to eat steak and the best restaurant for some delicious steak and crab is BOBOQUIVARI'S. Bobo's is kind of pricey, but it's definitely worth it. It's on Van Ness and Lombard in SF. I also love to eat crab!! The best restaurant for crab besides my own house is CRUSTACEAN or THANH LONG, which are sister restaurants. It's also a pricey restaurant, but also definitely worth it. Crustacean is on Polk and California, and Thanh Long is on 46th and Judah (both in SF). mann...I'm drooling at the mouth just thinking about it!
