I found your address at the
Exploriaum site on the web and have a
question. I have a print that has
Silverfish stains on the paper
surface. My question is how do I
remove the stains without damageing
the print? (Mon, 5 Feb 2001 ) |

While we don't know of a sure-fire
way to remove the stains safely,
perhaps someone involved with old book
restoration would be able to help.
Silverfish infestations are not
uncommon and it is probably something
with which bookkeepers are familiar.
