ADMADE follows a fairly typical model for community based natural resource management. A natural resource, in this case wildlife, is used sustainably, in this case primarily for safari hunting, which yields high financial benefits. The financial benefits are reinvested into management activities, such as monitoring, public education, and law enforcement, as well as community development projects, such as building new schools or health clinics.
