Notes:
To spatially reference observations from field patrols and safari hunts, Nyamaluma has designed a base map for each Game Management Area with a 5 km square grid overlaid. This resolution is not very precise, however village scouts are able to locate the grid they are in with a high degree of accuracy, and this scale is sufficient for most management purposes. ADMADE first tried a more conservative 10km square grid before settling on this scale.
