Notes:
One of the most important outputs of Nyamaluma's information system are the large flip-chart size summaries of monitoring data. These large layouts are printed using a plotter and returned to the communities for meetings and planning. These layouts need to contain a variety of elements, including charts, maps, and tabular summaries. Previously these layouts were created manually in ArcView, a specialized and time-consuming process. The ADMADE Data Manager automates the production of these layouts by sending commands to PowerPoint as the graphics application with a common programming language. These layouts can then be touched up and modified in PowerPoint, before being printed. This feature is a major time saver for Nyamaluma and improves the production and quality of summaries.
