Data quality is a common concern of information system, particularly those where the end-users are far removed from the data collection. ADMADE uses several methods to control data quality. The first line of defense is a series of human controls, starting with scout training and field supervision. Once input into the database, the computer is also able to eliminate problems from partially entered data or data outside expected ranges, and can detect certain data quality threats such as small sample sizes or possible temporal bias.
