Notes:
This table describes the monitoring data available during the first two years of ADMADE's experiment with community-based quota setting. The third column shows the number of species which had indicator data available. The fourth colum shows the number of population indicators available per species. Because the method depends heavily on triangulation of indicators, the number of indicators is an important element in the quality of decisions. The last column shows the percent of indicators which agree with each other. These coefficients are not bad, but even more significantly when you remove the indicators which show neither a positive or negative trend, the coefficient of agreements go up to 0.72, and even higher with a couple of outliers removed. This indicates that its fairly uncommon to have indicators contradicting each other, enhancing the validity of the method.
