Applying for graduate study ??
Since August 1999, George Roderick and I have been on the faculty at UC Berkeley, in a department perhaps soon to be called Environmental Science. Previously, at the University of Hawaii, I advised students in both Zoology. Our students also participated in the Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology (EECB) Graduate Program. Respective departments at the University of California, Berkeley or the University of Hawaii should be contacted for application materials--click on links for further information.
Students and postdocs in our lab have gone on to a variety of careers including positions with academia, state and federal agencies, private NGO's and foundations, and industry. Former students and postdocs hold positions with the University of Barcelona, Spain; the Natural History Museum, London; the University of Bristol, England; Harvard Medical School; UC Riverside; UC Davis; San Diego State University; Louisiana State University; Bowling Green State University; US Fish and Wildlife Service, USGS, and the State of Hawaii. See our lab's Evolab page for links to former students and postdocs.
