Hongyun Wang received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of California, Berkeley under Alexandre Chorin. After that Dr. Wang extended his research into biophysics and molecular modeling. He did his postdoctoral research with George Oster in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Berkeley before joining the faculty at UCSC.
