Summary: Collected data, swapped sonic, added spikes to 7700, adjust CR1000 clock by 4min.

I arrived at 9:55 with Elke. I sent a text to Benjamin before leaving campus saying that we would be there today and he responded â€œOKâ€. We drove along the levee to the east and then down and west along the ditch on the north side of our field. The ground is very dusty. We parked on the edge of the field and walked to the tower. It was clear, sunny and warm with a strong breeze from the west. The alfalfa is getting tall again already, about 30cm, just below knee height.

We swapped the sonic, sn 124215 went on and sn 153806 came off. The one comping off has the newest firm ware that we uploaded in the lab, but the analog channels are dropping out regularly during daylight.
Before swap: U = -4m/s, V = 3m/s, W = 0m/s, SOS = 345.5m/s
After swap: U = -4m/s, V = 2.5m/s, W = 0m/s, SOS = 340m/s
I am not sure why the SOS value dropped. Must be something wrong in the settings. I checked the sonic that went on in the lab and it looked okay. I didnâ€™t have the connector I needed to check it in the field. Data should be okay but probably will need to add correction for SOS post processing.

The 7500 read: 384.4ppm CO2, 653.0mmol/m3 H2O, 22.3C, 101.3kPa, 103.4SS â€“ 105 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.85ppm CH4, 39.4RSSI â€“ 73.5 after cleaning

We swapped the 7700 hat for one with bird spikes, but one of the three sets of spikes was already loose. The hat that came off had bird poop on it.

The wash reservoir was nearly full â€“ topped it off.

Washed the dust off the solar panels.

No pipe for a well on site â€“ bring one to install well.

The met data logger clock was 4min ahead. It was reset from 9:36 to 9:32.
